Our Chancel Choir is directed by David Kestner. The Enon UMC choir is a group of congregation members who sing the parts of soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. Amy Whitehill is our church pianist, and she provides beautiful accompaniment to the choir.
Choir season starts in late August and runs through Pentecost Sunday. Rehearsals are Wednesday evening and Sunday morning. The Chancel Choir is part of Sunday services on the first, second, and third Sundays during choir season. We also sing a Christmas cantata and special music on Easter.
No experience is necessary to join the Enon UMC choir! All that is needed is a joy for singing. We will help you learn. Join us for fun, fellowship, a little hard work, and raising our voices together in praise to God. David says, “Joining the choir is wonderful way to give our church your time and your service.” Please join us–we would love to add your voice to our colorful mixture!
