Kids Connection
This ministry was developed and led by Patti Mohr and Tami Smith, and it started with only one child in September 2022. In 2024, we welcomed Emily Mohr as the new leader. Kids’ Connection is a program for children ages 4-10 held during Enon UMC’s Sunday worship service. Children begin the worship service in the Sanctuary with their parents. After the Passing of the Peace, Pastor Heather will call the children to the front of the Sanctuary for a brief children’s moment, after which two leaders will escort the children to the Marti Ventolo Education Wing for a time of learning more about Jesus and God’s love for each child. The children will then return to the Sanctuary for the closing hymn of worship. We are excited to offer this program which enables your children to experience worship with their families as well as a loving program with other children.
As of August 2023–almost one year into Kids’ Connection–over 30 different children have participated in the program, and an average of 16 children participate each month! This is a wonderful program you won’t want your kids to miss. We look forward to seeing you in worship and your children at Kids’ Connection!
