The Pregnancy Resource Clinic (PRC) services Clark County residents. The PRC is a Christ-centered organization that provides trusted care, support, and resources to all people regarding pregnancy and sexual health. They seek to offer practical and life-affirming alternatives to women and men who are making decisions regarding an unplanned pregnancy.  The PRC offers pregnancy testing, pregnancy decision guidance, prenatal vitamins, ultrasound services, and more. All their services remain free of charge to the individuals they serve. This is only possible because of the generosity of individuals, churches, and private grantors.

One of PRC’s fund-raising efforts is “Blessings in a Bottle,” which is held annually between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. All funds donated during this campaign will be put toward continuation of PRC’s ministry to the community. Here is how Enon UMC supports this campaign:

  • Donors will pick up bottles in the lobby starting on Mother’s Day.
  • Donors will fill bottle(s) with change and/or dollars. If you’d rather write a check, please make it payable to “Enon UMC” and mark it for “Pregnancy Resource Clinic” or “Line 1009-H.”
  • Donors will return bottles not later than Father’s Day. (Bottles can be returned at any time prior–instructions will be provided regarding to whom bottles are to be given)
  • Outreach will count the donations (not PRC), and the bottles will remain at Enon UMC.
  • Enon UMC Treasurer will send a check for the total to PRC.

PRC asks our congregation to pray that the bottle donations are used as an instrument of His kingdom, as they are now seeing more patients. Please pray that their care coordinators and staff nurses would cast all their cares on Him as they feel the weight of broken stories. Pray that He would take these broken stories and make them new.

In 2022, Enon UMC donated $540.21. In 2021, Enon UMC donated $200. In 2020, due to the pandemic, there was no collection within Enon UMC. In 2019, this campaign raised a total of $36,270.60. Of that amount, $338.52 was donated by Enon UMC members who filled their bottles with cash, coins, and checks!
