Church Library

Enon UMC Library

Hello there!  How are you today?

My name is Barnaby.  I am am a BOOK Worm–a wandering, curious, book freak! I have traveled all over the country searching out new libraries and books. I love both!

The other day, I came across a little Ohio village called Enon.  It has an awesome library! A lady told me about another library in the church right down the street, so I decided to check it out.  I waited patiently on a bush so no one would see me. Eventually, the front door opened, and I managed to get inside on someone’s shoe. I eventually found the church library in Room #2. I started my climb up the floor-to-ceiling shelves of an entire wall of books.  I found fiction, Bible stories, Bible studies, books about Enon UMC, books about Ohio, and even music books, Bibles, and some books authored by this famous lady, Debbie Macomber.  I read a few and wow, I couldn’t put them down!

There is a plaque on the wall that I slid across, and it said the library shelves were donated by the Watchorn Family in memory of their daughter, Denise, who died.  How sad, but what a great gift!  I bet she liked to read.

Well, I have to be moving along.  Please visit the Enon UMC library!  I bet there are books that you didn’t even know were there.  Take a gander and pick a gem for your next reading session. There is no charge–just sign the book out and return it when you’re finished. Easy as can be!

Well so long, and thanks for a delightful library experience.  Oops–the door is opening so I better get out while I can.  Happy reading!
