Enon UMC proudly hosts Buckeye Country 4-H Club. Did you know 4-H originated in Clark County? There is a building in downtown Springfield named in honor of A.B. Graham (at right), who is best known for launching 4-H back in 1902. The four H’s are Head, Heart, Health, and Hands. Mr. Graham’s vision of a youth development program has turned into a national organization with over 6 million members, 90,000 4-H clubs, 600,000 youth and adult volunteers, and 25 million alumni!

Buckeye Country 4-H Club was formed in 2003. The Club meets at Enon UMC in Roth Hall generally twice a month from February through July. The Club participates in the Clark County Fair held in July every year. The club has 4 advisors and approximately 25 members ranging from 5 to 18 years of age. Within this club, members can choose from such diverse projects as livestock, cooking, photography, woodworking, and others! Buckeye Country 4-H would love to welcome other interested youth. For more information, email Danita Ferryman or call her at (937) 408-8245. Be sure to check out the Club’s FaceBook page!
